The Scalia Law Trial Advocacy Association

The Trial Advocacy Association of the George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School is one of the largest and most active groups on campus. The Scalia Law Trial Advocacy Association is a professional organization that allows students to connect with the larger legal community through competitions and other sponsored activities.

The Scalia Law Trial Advocacy Association annually sponsors an intramural competition to provide our members with an opportunity to hone their trial advocacy skills while competing for opportunities to represent George Mason on one of our extramural competition teams. This competition has grown to include over 20 student teams, hundreds of local judges and attorneys, and hours of spirited advocacy.

The Scalia Law Trial Advocacy Association enhances the reputation of Scalia Law by sending outstanding advocates to represent the Law School at extramural competitions across the country. We participate in anywhere from three to six competitions every semester, from New York to San Francisco!

Have a Trial Advocacy Team of your own? We cordially invite you to participate in The John L. Costello National Criminal Law Trial Advocacy Competition, an annual extramural hosted by the Trial Advocacy Association of Scalia Law.
