March 9, 2022 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Please join the Career Services Office for a panel discussion on careers in public interest. The speakers will be our alumni from a variety of organizations (see bios below). The panel discussion will be held over zoom. Room 121 in the law school has been reserved for students to use to log into the panel discussion from their laptops. Snacks provided! You can find the zoom link in Symplicity under the Events tab.

12:00-12:35 pm: All first-year, all second-year, and third-year evening students should join the panel for a discussion on what public interest practice is like and steps students should take in law school to become marketable in this world.

12:40-1:15 pm: Third-year day and fourth-year evening students should join the panel. The discussion will begin with all the panelists sharing advice on securing post-graduation employment in public interest. Then we will move into breakout rooms, as needed, based on practice area to allow our speakers to share specific advice on finding an entry-level job in that practice area.
