Judicial & Legislative Reception

In 1998 the Judicial & Legislative Reception was established to salute the judges and legislators who serve the people of our region. Over the past three decades, it has become the premier legal event in Northern Virginia, with attorneys, judges, legislators, and alumni looking forward to this annual gathering. Net proceeds from the event benefit Scalia Law’s student pro bono activities.
After a three-year hiatus brought on by the pandemic, JLR returns on May 24 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. The reception features fine wines from the Commonwealth of Virginia and delicious New Point Oysters.
