The Criminal Law Society invites you to a presentation on human trafficking in the United States. Betsy Hutson is a Trial Attorney at the Civil Rights Division, Criminal Section, Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit of the U.S. Department of Justice. She works with Assistant United States Attorneys and agents across the country to prosecute sex and labor trafficking cases. Betsy will cover the definition, scope, and legal framework of human trafficking in the U.S. and deconstruct some common myths and misconceptions about human trafficking.
