Please note that we only publish events that are\u00a0open to law students, faculty, and staff. Our target audience for the public calendar is law students. Please do not list private or \u201cby invitation only\u201d events on here.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Login into the Calendar of Events website. If you access the website outside of the George Mason network, you would need to log into our VPN first.<\/li>\n<li>From the Event section on the left-hand menu or the drop-down menu at the top, choose <strong>Add Event<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Add <strong>Title<\/strong>, <strong>Description<\/strong>, <strong>Time &amp; Date<\/strong>, <strong>Location<\/strong> (check to see if the location existed), <strong>Organizers <\/strong>(check to see if the organizer existed), and <strong>Event URL<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Ignore <strong>Event Cost<\/strong>, <strong>Excerpt<\/strong>, <strong>Custom Field<\/strong>, and <strong>Slugs<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Discussion<\/strong>, uncheck <strong>Allow comments<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Event Categories<\/strong>, check all that are appropriate or add new category if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Event Options<\/strong>, leave it blank unless you want to hide it from listing.<\/li>\n<li>Ignore <strong>Custom header<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>Featured image<\/strong>, please crop your image to <strong>1200px x 675px<\/strong> for consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Hit <strong>Publish<\/strong> when you are finished.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Instructions for adding an event to our Calendar of Events.
