Then enter the staff member&#8217;s <strong>Name<\/strong> under <strong>Title<\/strong>, <strong>Long Title<\/strong>, and <strong>Resource Alias<\/strong> in the format shown below. Please note that the <strong>Published<\/strong> checkbox will not be selected by default. Start with the <strong>Locations<\/strong> sub-tab. Here you will enter the <strong>Email<\/strong>, <strong>GMU Phone Extension<\/strong>, and <strong>Office Number<\/strong>.\u00a0 Please note the phone extension must follow the correct format (3-xxxx).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-749\" src=\"http:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/4-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"549\" height=\"493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/4-copy.jpg 549w, https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/4-copy-300x269.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 549px) 85vw, 549px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step 5: The People sub-tab under Template Variables is very important. Start with the <strong>First Name<\/strong>, <strong>Middle Name<\/strong>, <strong>Last Name<\/strong>, to title the Staff page. A staff banner photo may be uploaded to the <strong>Photo Large<\/strong> area when a photo is available.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-750\" src=\"http:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/5-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"338\" height=\"348\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/5-copy.jpg 338w, https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/5-copy-291x300.jpg 291w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 338px) 85vw, 338px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Scrolling down the <strong>People<\/strong> tab, enter the Staff Member&#8217;s professional title under <strong>Main Title<\/strong>, and include the Bio under <strong>Biographical Sketch<\/strong>. For Faculty, please select an <strong>Area of Expertise<\/strong>\u00a0and<strong> Subjects Taught.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-751\" src=\"http:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/6-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"366\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/6-copy.jpg 366w, https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/6-copy-300x194.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 366px) 85vw, 366px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Further down, select the <strong>Designation<\/strong>, <strong>Faculty Rank,\u00a0 Highest Degree Obtained<\/strong>. and <strong>Alma Mater.\u00a0<\/strong>You may enter up to six additional degrees in this section.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-752\" src=\"http:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/7-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"314\" height=\"499\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/7-copy.jpg 314w, https:\/\/sls.gmu.edu\/web\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/7-copy-189x300.jpg 189w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 314px) 85vw, 314px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Step 6. (Optional) To remove the sidebar which is set by default, scroll back up to the sub-tab area and select <strong>Templates &#8211; Default TVs<\/strong>.
