Here are the instructions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pull student submissions from Gravity Form: Submit a <strong>Photo for Our Class Roster<\/strong>. Export the following columns:\n<ul>\n<li>First Name<\/li>\n<li>Last Name<\/li>\n<li>Student Type<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate Institution<\/li>\n<li>Undergraduate Major<\/li>\n<li>Photo<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Open CSV file in Excel, remove duplicates (early submission) both in the CSV file and in Gravity Entries.<\/li>\n<li>Clean up <strong>Undergraduate Institution<\/strong> and <strong>Undergraduate Major<\/strong> to make sure they are consistent. Capitalize names if they are not.<\/li>\n<li>Sort by <strong>Student Type<\/strong>. Save as three different CSV files for: <strong>Incoming JD<\/strong>, <strong>Transfer<\/strong>, and <strong>Visitor<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>From each individual <strong>Student Type<\/strong>, sort by <strong>Last Name<\/strong> in alphabetical order.<\/li>\n<li>Open up an Excel template (previous version) with HTML columns, paste in the columns accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Copy all the rows and columns from the Excel file then paste into an HTML file template.<\/li>\n<li>Open the HTML file in Chrome browser and check to see if the photos cropped properly. If a person\u2019s head got cropped out, add a CSS class (<code>class=crop-center<\/code>) in the person\u2019s <code>img<\/code> element: <code>&lt;img class=crop-center src=lastname-firstname.jpg&gt;<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Once everything looks good, print from Chrome browser, then save as PDF.<\/li>\n<li>Open the PDFs in Adobe Illustrator to add the <strong>Student Type<\/strong> label on the top right corner of the page. (The AI file with labels will be linked to the PDF. When the PDF is updated, it will also update in the IA file.)<\/li>\n<li>Combine all PDFs, including the cover page, in Adobe Acrobat.<\/li>\n<li>Put everything on the ShareDrive.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Profiles for Incoming 1Ls needed to be created around August 19.
