October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and our big event of this month is the Women’s Law Association’s 2nd Annual Charity Corn Hole Tournament. This event was a blast last year, and we’re excited to keep it going. Food and drink will be provided, along with free entertainment via the tournament and other fall activities. We will also be holding a raffle for various prizes. Students, faculty, staff, friends, and family are all invited! Proceeds from this event and donations will go to My Sister’s Place and Borromeo Housing, Inc., two charities that provide support to women and families affected by domestic violence. <\/p>\n
TEAM SIGNUPS ARE NOW OPEN! <\/p>\n
Please fill out the Google form<\/a> with a team name, 2 team members, and 1 optional backup member to fill in if a team member can’t compete. Each team must include at least one member of the Mason community, who can be a student, faculty member, or staff member. The total cost to compete, per team, is $20, which can be paid ahead of time or on the morning of the event before 11:00 a.m. Children are welcome to attend and compete!
