Ray on Thursday, October 27 at 12:15 p.m.\u00a0 Mr. Ray will speak on &#8220;Practicing the Faith and Practicing the Law&#8221;.\u00a0 Mr. Ray is an enthusiast of the Western Canon, and attendees can expect insight on how to connect day-to-day work as a lawyer to such lofty philosophical frameworks as Aquinas\u2019 Summa Theologica.\u00a0 As Acting Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs (OIRA) in 2020, Mr. Ray led federal efforts on regulatory reform.\u00a0 Before his time at OIRA, Paul Ray served as counselor to the U.S. Secretary of Labor, and an attorney specializing in administrative appellate law.\u00a0 Mr. Ray is a graduate of Harvard Law School, with past clerkships for Judge Debra Ann Livingston of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and for Justice Samuel A. Alito of the United States Supreme Court.\u00a0 Mr. Ray now leads The Heritage Foundation\u2019s work on regulatory and economic policy as director of the Thomas A.
