DESCRIPTION:The Student Bar Association is hosting the Student Organization Fair on Thursday\, September 16\, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Hazel Hall Atrium. Whether you are a 1L just trying to find community on campus\, or a 2L/3L trying to make up for time lost to COVID\, we encourage you all to come out and meet the organizations of Scalia Law! \nStudents are encouraged to RSVP to the event using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/student-organization-fair-fall-2021-tickets-170023834867. \nStudents are required to check-in to the event – please be prepared to (1) wear your mask\, (2) present a valid Daily Health Check displaying approval for participation in on-campus activities\, and (3) have a great time! \nIf you are unable to attend due to Yom Kippur\, please fill out the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/ufmbyuXFHqGQ5eWr8. DESCRIPTION:The Gray Center will host a symposium on September 17 honoring the late Judge Stephen Williams\, who served on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from 1986 until his death in 2020. The event will take place at the Historic Decatur House in Washington\, DC. and will be live-streamed and recorded for those unable to attend in-person. \nKeynote remarks will be offered by Judge Douglas Ginsburg\, who originally created this symposium with Scalia Law’s then-Dean Henry Butler\, and Professor Michael Greve. \nFor more information\, go to the Registration Site.
