Early Decision Agreement

George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School offers an Early Decision Program for applicants who have thoroughly researched law school options and have determined Scalia Law as their first choice.

Applicants admitted through the Early Decision Program agree to enroll at Scalia Law and to comply with the terms of this Agreement. Applicants who apply by January 15 and whose applications are complete by January 18 will receive a decision by mid-February. Applicants may apply to the Early Decision Program at any time during the admissions cycle.

Applicants who are not admitted through the Early Decision process may be denied admission or placed on Scalia Law’s waitlist for further consideration. If an applicant is placed on the waitlist, the applicant is released from the binding obligations of this Agreement.

Scalia Law is my first-choice law school, and if I am admitted through the Early Decision Program, I agree to enroll at Scalia Law. I understand that this commitment is binding regardless of the amount of scholarship I may be offered.

I am prohibited from applying to any other law school’s early decision program while my Scalia Law Early Decision application is pending.

If admitted to Scalia Law’s Early Decision Program, I am obligated to submit a $500.00 seat deposit within 14 calendar days of the date of my admission offer.

If admitted to Scalia Law’s Early Decision Program, I must immediately withdraw from all pending applications and withdraw from all waitlists at other law schools. I must also decline any outstanding offers of admission from other law schools and may not submit any new applications.

By signing below, I certify that I have carefully reviewed and fully understand the obligations of Scalia Law’s binding Early Decision Program.

I understand that failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement may result in revocation of my offer of admission and scholarship award, if applicable.

I understand that Scalia Law reserves the right to share my name and Early Decision status with other law schools as necessary to verify compliance with this binding Agreement.
